​New System Installation​
You may be asking yourself - where do I begin? Well, great question -- as everything in the security industry starts with what is referred to as a basic package. All basic packages, whether the system you have installed is wireless or hard-wired, include:

• Main control panel or [brains of the system] - this is the basis for which your system operates and is offered in a variety of options. 
  
• One keypad
  
• Three door/window contacts
  
• One interior motion detection device
  
• One interior siren
• One transformer or power supply
  
• One back-up battery pack
  
• One wireless 4-button remote (with installation of Lynx Touch 5200 wireless system)
  
• Option of either:  
  

      - a standard phone line connection - if you have home phone service via a true land-line phone line, i.e, Windstream or AT&T

                                                                                                         -- OR--

​      - a GSM cellular radio communicator - if you do not have home phone service, or your home phone service is NOT via true land-line

        phone line, e.g., Comcast, Xfinity, Charter, AT&T U-Verse, Vonage, Verizon, or similar, as these are VOIP (voice over IP) phone services

        and are not reliable means for communication via your alarm panel

                     *GSM communicator is an additional purchase
